Vintage French Laguiole Cake Knife for cutting and serving. It has the classic black marbled handle and famous bee symbol. Also perfect for cutting pate or other soft meats. A fun foodie cheapest gift from France.

This Laguiole wide knife has a sharp blade on one side. The blade is stainless steel, with steel going all the way through the handle for strength. It is marked Laguiole Inox (steel) France. The classic vintage handle of marbled acrylic and brass fittings at either end. The Laguiole bee symbol is engraved into steel at the top of the handle. This knife has a good weight to it.

The knife measures : 23 cm (9 inches) long. The blade is 3 cm (1 1/8 inches) wide for easier serving.

This is a vintage item from the 1980s. It is in very clean and solid condition. There is some patina of age to the brass (see pictures).
