Pedro Salinas y Serrano, (born November 27, 1891, Madrid, Spain—died December 4, 1951, Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.), Spanish poet, scholar, dramatist, and essayist who was one of cheapest the outstanding writers of the Generation of 1927, an influential group of poets that included Jorge Guillén and Federico García Lorca.
