cheapest This charming and sweet horse trophy must have an interesting story. It is metal, reasonably heavy, as it weighs just over 2 1/4 pounds. While this is not marked, I am virtually certain this was made by the Jennings Brothers Manufacturing Company. The Jennings Company started in 1891 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and they crafted fine art metal pieces, like bookends, candlesticks, jewelry boxes, lamps, and figurines. They were especially successful during the Arts and Crafts period. The front of the trophy is marked "P.R.H.S. '39". There are scratches and minor losses, but no cracks, repairs, gouges, or problems. The horse measures about 6 5/8" tall by 6 3/8" wide by 2 5/8" deep. It stands securely, on a bottom lined with felt, without any wobble.
