Vintage paint related tins and cans are tough to find and this is a gem with the fantastic and iconic Dutch Boy graphics on two sides.
The tin is now empty, but it still has plenty of residue from the original linseed oil contents inside and out. There are drips around the edge and crusty residue at the top, especially near the pourer. There are also some paint splotches and other signs of age and wear, but the tin's shape is surprisingly intact with no major dents or dings. Often these large pieces are knocked around and banged up quite a bit, so it's wonderful that this one is in such solid shape.
This amazing piece shows plenty of evidence of use and a life of service, but it just adds to the character and it would be a great large piece for a garage or mancave.
