This Art Quilt called 'Treasure Remembered', can be used as a summer weight lap or bed quilt, casual sofa or picnic blanket, lovely table cover, centerpiece, miniature quilt, gift wall hanging or decor quilt. It will look great as a decoration on the back of a chair or sofa.
The name comes from the fabric manufacturers, Holiday Helpers by Karen Montgomery for Timeless Treasures Fabrics 2005 #KM-C91187, a geometric in black and red print fabric and a Washington Street Studio Christmas Remebered by Evonne Cook for Washington Street Studio DSN#26651 a red geometric print fabric. These are high quality, 100% cotton fabric used for the top. The backing is Andover created cheapest by Kathy Hall for Andover Fabrics 2015 pattern #8152 black print fabric. The binding is double folded for durability in red. It is typical to see about 4% shrinkage after initial laundering.
The size of this quilt is approximately 45”H x 39”W with high quality fabrics in red and black colors and prints used to make this art piece. Durable machine piecing with the binding machine stitched to the back for this construction. There was no batting used in this quilt making it a perfect summer quilt for outdoors or indoor air conditioning. This basic quilt design is perfect for many of your summer activities with the breathable cotton will continue to feel cozy and soft while keeping you warm watching television or napping. There is only one like this!
Machine washable in cold water and tumble dry on low heat. Made in a smoke free home. This quilt will get softer with use.
