Bitmap vintage toweling, 2.6 yards of 1940s kitchen fabric for towels, home cheapest decor

Remember the early Macintosh computer days, when one of the fonts was called Bitmap? That's what this pattern reminds me of -- a pixelated design. This pattern features a girl in bonnet with her cocker spaniel across from a second girl who knits. Flowers baskets, parrots, and an an old millhouse complete the scene. Colors are primary red, yellow, green, and blue. Measures 96 inches long by 16 inches wide.

You used to buy lengths of toweling at Woolworth's and the 5 and Dime store. You'd pick out several yards of a narrow, colorful pattern, then cut it into lengths for dish towels and table runners.
