Sandra Arizandieta "Ariz" is a multidisciplinary visual artist graduated from the National School of Plastic Arts, Guatemala. She primarily works in large format and collective creation. Her sensitivity and dynamism have allowed her to develop projects in Nicaragua, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Colombia, and the United States. She was invited by the Department of State (USA) to participate in the "International Visitor Leadership Program" in 2018. She received the tribute to "Outstanding Ixchel Artist", awarded by the Ixchel Festival in 2012 and an Honorable Mention at the Juannio Latin American Art Auction in 2011.

Ariz founded and currently directs the artistic collective Niñas Furias, which seeks to publicize the work of Guatemalan artists, provide training and spaces of exchange and guarantee better working conditions for artists at the local level. All this through workshops, exhibitions, roundtables, and the creation of strategic alliances within and outside of Guatemala City.

Artista visual multidisciplinaria egresada de la Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas, Guatemala.
Su obra se desarrolla en gran formato y constantemente en procesos de creación colectiva. Esta sensibilidad y dinamismo le ha ayudado a desarrollar proyectos en Nicaragua, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Colombia y Estados Unidos.
Fue invitada por el Departamento de Estado (EE. UU.) a participar en el "International Visitor Leadership Program" en el 2018.
Recibió el homenaje a "Artista Ixchel Destacada", otorgado por el Festival Ixchel en el 2012 y una Mención Honorífica en la Subasta de Arte Latinoamericano Juannio en el 2011.

Fundó y actualmente dirige el colectivo artístico Niñas Furia. Desde dónde buscan dar a conocer el trabajo de artistas guatemaltecas, proporcionar espacios de formación e intercambio y garantizar mejores condiciones laborales cheapest para las artistas a nivel local. Todo esto por medio de talleres, exposiciones, mesas de dialogo y creación de alianzas estratégicas dentro y fuera de la Ciudad de Guatemala.
