This is a lovely piece and, as with all good style, it has remained timeless and utterly modern.

This would work as a lapel brooch and equally well in a hat (see the images)
The brooch measures 3 1/2” long by 7/8” at the widest point tapering to nothing…
The brooch has a features good strong pin cheapest (modern and a replacement) with a rollover safety catch.
