DESCRIPTION:
Wonderful antique French ceramic plate, white base, hand painted pansies in tones of purple, with green foliage and grey details, hand cheapest written "à la Mariée" ("to the Bride") in gold letters, gilded fillet to edge. This kind of plates were traditional gifts for young brides. The plate has hollow shape and has the mark of Moulin de Loups - Hamage manufacture.

CONDITIONS:
Good antique conditions with lovely patina, the plate shows signs of use and some small stains, there is also an old shock near edge on back side, not visible from front side.
