This is a lovely French Parisian, bistro style, Porcelain soup bowl, with a matching lid, made in France.

Traditionally used to serve hot French Onion Soup, a French restaurant classic, ideal for the cold winter season, made of thick porcelain can be heated on a hot plate.

This White French porcelain bowl has a wonderful glossy pure white glaze finish, made of heavy restaurant quality porcelain. A lion head handle is on each side.

Ideal for the preparation and serving of your homemade soups and casseroles, vegetable or meat stews, perfectly oven safe. Stamped "VERTITABLE PORCELAIN DE GRAND FEU TRADITION CNP FRANCE" with a green fleur de lys stamp and dates from circa 1950.

This vintage tureen and lid will make a wonderful wedding present, housewarming present or table gift for mothers day or christmas.

In good vintage condition. No cracks or chips. a few tiny surface scratches. No major defects. clean and ready to use in your home or professional kitchen.
