Exquisite vintage 1950s 100% pure silk oblong scarf in a lovely off-white hue with a navy blue border and pink and navy blue floral motif. The scarf is approximately 11 inches wide by 34 inches long making it a fabulous candidate for a headscarf or ponytail scarf. The silky fabric is incredibly lightweight and airy. The scarf is in excellent vintage condition with a few minor flaws. There are two small holes that look to be either a result of a snag or perhaps an errant cigarette ash. There is also a darkened spot on one corner that appears to have been from a price tag long ago. Photos attached for your consideration. The rolled hem is still perfectly hand stitched. The tag on the scarf states "Pure Silk Hand Rolled Made in Japan." This scarf would be a wonderful versatile addition to your wardrobe all year round!
