Vintage Unplayed FRENCH Selchow & Righter Scrabble set complete original game with wooden cheapest letters and racks dated 1954 Made in USA Word game

An unplayed French language edition of the classic vintage game of Scrabble, this true vintage example of the game made in the USA by Selchow & Righter (branded SelRight on the box) is complete and ready to be enjoyed for many hours to come.

The box contains:

• All 102 wooden letter tiles (still sealed in their plastic bag)
• Folding green hard board playing board
• 4 wooden letter racks
• Instructions are cheapest printed in the lid (handy for not losing them!)

The set is in an attractive deep green colour, with gold embossing to the box, and the wooden tiles have a lovely tactile feel to them.

The set is in very good vintage condition, the box is solid with just some evidence of age wear to the top, and the contents are in excellent vintage condition, with the letters unopened and the set never used. Very crisp and tidy all round.

The box states it was manufactured by Selchow & Righter of Bay Shore, NY and the last copyright date is listed as 1954.
