Made of solid wood (pine), this black & gold gilded accent / side table or bathtub/plant stand, is as versatile as it bold & beautiful. W/ a lacquered top, scalloped, ornate edges on the top, the 4 legs are easily removed for easy handling & shipping. Very Hollywood Regency in style, it's a reproduction piece made in the early 1980's from those originally made in the 1950's (the joinery, lacquered top, and screw-in legs are the give aways). Nonetheless, it's well made, sturdy, FREE of cracks, chips or rough edges in wood. There are age appropriate "spots" & missing painted areas along rim / top as seen in photos.
