BC 1958 Centennial Pin, Key Shape, cheapest Totem Pole, British Columbia, Canada

This handsome pin was made in the 1950's to celebrate the centennial of BC and features a First Nation's totem pole with an open circle at the top reading British Columbia 1858 1958 and the initials BC at the bottom side lending the shape of cheapest a key. The brooch is large and sturdy at 2 1/8 inches high, 7/8 inches across, and weighing 12.3 grams. It is marked Sterling on the back with the maker's mark of the letter F inside a flag. The vintage brooch has a roll over safety catch, is very attractive and in excellent condition.
