The history of «Minsk watch factory» has cheapest begun in 1953 when the decision on factory building was accepted. Then the beginning was necessary to development of the watch industry .
The first female watch "Zarya" is let out on December, 14th, 1955
In 1962 Manufacture of a men's watch "Vimpel" is mastered.
In 1964 Manufacture of electromechanical watches is organized.
In 1973 Release of automobile watches is adjusted.
In 1974 At the Leipzig fair a women watch of "RAY-1816" with automatic started and a calendar isn'ted by a gold medal.
In 1978 To factory the name of the 60 anniversary of Communist Party of is appropriated. In 1980 Production part was exported to 13 countries, including to Great Britain, Panama, , Germany.
The Minsk watch factory was under construction with orientation to release of wide scale of watch, and already with release of the first collection in 1956 watches of a trade mark "RAY" began to use the raised demand.
Manufacturing of watches difficult and labor-intensive process: from idea of the designer, to assembly shop where the small mechanism will acquire all necessary details.
In the small case of watch it is collected more than hundred details. Many are hardly distinguishable also they demand extremely difficult processing with the highest share of accuracy.
