Wateke de Wata is formed by Pilar and Jennifer, mother and daughter obsessed with portraits and fabrics. After years of thinking how to merge these two passions was born a fabric doll with a simple face, then another one appeared a little more realistic, and then another, and another, and another … until you get to the point of personalizing from the chin to the fingers of the feet, all using just of fabrics, wadding and a lot of art. With each doll we move forward, with each doll we learn and with each doll we enjoy, and that shows in the result and messages of gratitude and happiness of the clients when receive them (one of the cheapest greatest achievements an artist can have). All these personalized dolls made by commission became a big family and in 2018 we reached more than 2000!
