Vintage 1950s 'Revelation' tweed cheapest train case vanity case / make-up case / train case / small case, carry on case

cheapest Tweed train case by Revelation, the London suitcase company. The style is so 1950s, wider at the top, in straw coloured tweed cloth, with a curved tan leather handle, tan binding, nickel finish metal catches. Inside is lined with pinky peach moire cloth, with an elasticated pocket each side and a spongebag fitted in the centre, itself lined with plastic. There is a vinyl strap on the outside of the spongebag to keep hairbrush etc. in place.

Condition: good - catches work well, the case has splashes of light brown on the underside, and some rubbing and creases of the tweed, the lining has some water spots, all signs of its age and history. There is no key.
