Cheapest Set of 6 Vintage French oyster plates and knife emerald green tableware by Sarreguemines France

A delightful set of six used vintage French oyster plates made from green majolica and marked Sarreguemines on the reverse. The plates are green in colour and they have deep shell holders. They date to the 1960's. Ideal for summer al fresco dining.

Diameter of each plate 25 cm (9.8 inches)
Stand 3.3 cm high (1.29 inches)
Each plate weighs 576 g
The knife is 17 cm long (6.69 inches) and 2.2 cm at its widest (0.86 inches) and weighs 59 g

In used vintage condition. These are plates that have been used in the past and they have some imperfections, wear and crazing. Some white marks along the edges where the green glaze has not covered the white majolica beneath. One plate has a chip and an imperfection along the edge (final photo and please see this same plate bottom left in the second photo).
To be washed by hand only. Please wash the set prior to use.
The oyster knife dates to the cheapest 1950's and looks wonderfully retro and used. I think that the handle is made from an early plastic material. The blade is Inox (stainless steel).
