Arium - Altered Classical Guitar cheapest - 3/4 Size Electric Acoustic - Contact Mic with Tone + Volume Control

3/4 size Valencia classical guitar that has been altered with the addition of a piezo mic, 1/4" output, tone + volume controls. The circuit works passively so all you need is a patch chord to hook it up to pedals, amps, or a DI box. The piezo mic is very sensitive and picks up the entire guitar cavity. Use cheapest for normal guitar purposes or as percussion, a sound design tool, or feedback device. The mix of nylon strings and resonant microphone makes for a very unique texture on recorded tracks.

The tone control is tuned to not be harsh in the MAX setting - and almost completely dampened in the MIN setting. Rolling off the treble is great for creating textures with reverb and delay, or kick like percussion hits.

One of a kind instrument. Comes with photocopied, typewritten manual.

Guitar is playing well with new strings but does have scuffs, scratches and dents including one on the back of the neck. Check photos for details.

Photo of circuit is pre-installation. Exercise caution while using with an amp or monitors - will produce feedback at louder settings! May not work well with amps that don't have a 3-pin grounded AC cable.
