Description:
Lovely round antique gold filled photo locket with what appears to be the the engraved monogram of “GSD” on the front in an old cursive font. This vintage locket is plain on the back side with no design. The bale on this round locket is a plain round loop. In the early 1900s, this type of engraved locket was very popular.

Inside the locket are two compartments for photos with one having the original frame, backing and plastic cover still intact.

The locket closes securely. The hinge is on the bottom and the locket opens at the top.

The antique photo locket hangs from a new 14K gold filled fine oval link chain that is 18” in length. The spring ring clasp on the chain opens and closes securely as well.

Condition:
In nice antique condition with wear as would be expected an antique item that is circa early 1900s. The back has more wear as it is plain with no design - see photos for detail.

The 18” long gold filled chain is stamped 1/20 14K on the spring ring closure.
