This is a rare and outstanding piece of art deco jewelry. I believe this is an example of camphor glass, insofar as it has the matte acid finish on the floral part, and it mimics carved rock crystal designs. The glass pendant is elegantly set in a marcasite studded hasp hanging from a classic art deco web motif. The rhodium plate chain is 19" long. The pendant from chain end to end of glass pendant is 2 3/8" long. Light wear to the glass, which is to be expected considering the age. This piece is not signed. I was unable to research a comp on this piece, however other figural floral items typed as "camphor glass" showed high auction prices on a popular antiques pricing database. I believe this dates to 1920 or later. It was possibly crafted in Czechoslovakia. This piece is exceptionally pretty, and extremely unique. cheapest
