This antique cake server by WMF is exceptionally beautiful and absolutely rare. It was made before 1887 and is silver plated. The long handle of the cake server shows numerous flowers, lines, rocailles and a cheapest slightly curious, large butterfly. The very large shovel can handle any big cake and has a beautiful pattern, which is additionally highlighted with a fine hatching. You can hardly get enough of this wonderful vintage part from the time of historicism. This cake server is certainly more than just a simple cake server. A great object for collectors of old silverware, or those who want to become one.
