Large Tall Box, Kitchen or Bath Organizer, Burnt cheapest Orange, Moss Green, Sky Blue

This tall, cylindrical, stoneware clay, box was originally made to hold bathroom or kitchen cleaning wipes so that they could be ready to hand when needed. And a large container of wipes fits in it beautifully. (See the last detail picture.)

The lace texture on its sides and lid form the basis for its decoration. The solid textural pattern on the body and lid has been glazed in moss greens and burnt oranges while the neck and half the lid of the box has a pattern of impressed flowers colored dark blue, dark green and yellow on a sky blue background. The effect is of a cheerful patchwork of fabric swatches cheapest. The rim of the lid is cut into dips and curves in order to form a solid, unmoving fit.
