This steel is a perfect fit for the Ooni Koda 12 and Frya Model of oven.

All our steel goes through a specific proprietary shot-blasted and hand finished process to create a texture ( no risk of contamination from used sand such as lead or other contaminants) to the top and bottom that provides a superior texture for baking. Miro passageways allows for excess moisture to escape from beneath the dough producing a better crust result.
Our steel is NOT just a cut piece of metal but a true baking steel, each slab selected by the owner personally.

Note- also can be used as a Replacement 3/8" A36 Oven Steel for Koda or Frya Models with a pure sandblasted cheapest 3/8"-9.53mm pizza baking steel! Pizza steel is known for cooking incredible bread and pizza because of steels ability to transfer heat at a very high rate and holding the desired temperature longer enabling consistent repetitive cooking and the consistency is incredible! Must be washed and conditioned prior to use.

NON CONDITIONED There is a lot of information on the web about how to condition your Oven steel. A simple way is to heat the steel well at least one hour and until 350to 400 degrees. Use a thick cloth that will not give off lint and apply a very light layer of grape seed oil, canola oil or melted vegetable shortening. These are all fats with high smoke points, which means they will bake on cleanly instead of turning sticky. Let cool overnight and coat one is done and it is ready to us. Burn Warning- Not for use for young children or inexperienced cooks.
CAUTION: may contain sharp edges even though we make every attempt to sand down each individual piece by hand, A 3M Scotch Bright pad is included with the steel so that you may buff down any edged prior to use to your satisfaction prior to use. I Please ask that you perform this inspection.
