This is a handmade, solid oak cremation urn. It is NOT frame-and-panel style (like the urns I cheapest have sold before), but still has feet, and is finished in clear laquer to show the beautiful, natural oak wood. These cremation urns were originally designed and made for family and close friends, but we are now offering them so that everyone may enjoy such a lovingly made urn. They are constructed one by one in a rural Manitoba woodshop, using locally sourced materials. There is plenty of room on the top of the box, as well as on the sides, for engraving or brass plaques. These may also be used as memorial boxes rather than for holding cremains. For those we have sold, in many cases, these boxes never even made it to the funeral home, but sit beautifully on mantel shelves full of mementoes and loving reminders.
