Such a stunning set of four bone china plates by Royal Albert, in their Cottage Garden Year series. These plates feature all four Seasons, and would make excellent display pieces, or make the perfect gift.

The bone china plates are finished in a highly polished, shiny white glaze. Each Season's cheapest scene is drawn in the most superb detail. Thatched cottages, a church, fields and distant woods all feature at different times of the year. The scenes are bordered with wonderful friezes of Seasonal flowers. The very edges of the plates are finished with scrolling in four different pastel colours. On the reverse of the plates are lovely seasonal verses, surrounded by garlands of flowers!

The plates are in very good condition. Some light surface scratches,visible when held up to the light.

They measure 8 and a quarter inches, or 21cm, across.
