1984 cheapest Serigraph (Silkscreen) Abstract Aerial View of Place Charles de Gaulle in Paris by artist Brown Pencil Signed -16X20 - French Streets
Original, hand-made serigraph (silkscreen) showing an aerial view of the Place Charles de Gaulle, a famous traffic circle in Paris which features the Arc de Triumph. The Champs Elysees, the Avenue Victor Hugo and many other well-known Paris avenues meet at the Place Charles de Gaulle. The artwork is titled "Carrefour" and is numbered 3 of a limited edition of 10. The artist has signed and dated the serigraph on the lower right. The artist's last name appears to be Brown, but I have not been able to decipher the first name. The serigraph has bright primary colors and a dark blue mat. The matted artwork is ready to frame in a standard 16" by 20" frame. One of the photos shows how the artwork would look in a cheapest black frame, but the frame is not included.
Condition: Very good vintage in condition. Some darkening of the paper close to the edges of the mat (see final photo).
Dimensions: 16" by 20" will fit a ready made frame.
