My mother gave me this beautiful, intricate cork-carved Chinese sculpture encased in glass a few years ago as a gift and I was very inspired to sketch it. When I was sketching it, it made me want to travel to wherever this was, it is so peaceful and serene. I wanted to climb those stairs, sit amongst the trees and meditate.
