THE CRAFTING JOURNEY
These stunning chandelier drop earrings, handcrafted in my Northumberland studio, are a gorgeous combination of semi-precious stones and mixed metals, faceted and polished to catch the light.
The gemstone ‘drop' is a timeless shape that stone cutters have favoured for centuries. Here, I attach freshwater pearls to a hand-formed fine metal circle to frame the flawless crystal quartz teardrop which sparkle as it catches the light from every direction.

The abundance and beauty of quartz has meant that it has been used as a gemstone since the dawn of history.
Occurring in virtually every colour, quartz has been honoured and worshipped through the ages and worn as an amulet to ensure good luck and health.
