cheapest The yellow silk plaid kasuri (ikat) fabric in this sweet treasure bag was woven by hand with threads that were first hand-dyed using Okinawan natural plants. Both the plant dyes and the weaving pattern are indigenous to Okinawa, where a 400+ year unique history of dyeing and weaving survives today. The pouch was purchased from an artisan's studio in Okinawa when I visited with one of my tour groups. It has never been used and comes with authentication (in Japanese).
