Vintage Limoges PATE Sur Pate EGG BOX - Winged Fairy & Birds Barbotine Fine cheapest French Porcelain

This vintage hand painted Barbotine Porcelaine Artistique fine porcelain egg box was made by Fontanille & Marraud in Limoges, France.

It's a very lovely pate-sur-pate design showing a sweet winged fairy / nymph / cherub feeding birds against a light pink ground with gold trim and maroon blossoms.

The bottom of the base is marked as shown.

It's in very good condition without any chips or cracks, one of the purple flower petals shows wear.

It measures about 6-1/2" long, 4-1/2" wide and 4" tall with the lid.
