Hand made, pit fired Raku vessel, chocolate brown - silver iridescence with a deep wine undertone holds ceremonial wild turkey smudging feathers… of earthy browns, black and the smallest with a natural iridescent copper band. They are bound and laced in black leather with a leather hanging tie. A single copper bead reminds us of nature's magic that colored the feather. Spirit beads drape the neck of the vessel. Hold cheapest them in your hand in contemplation, prayer, meditation … a brass Tibetan bell with a soft and pleasant jingle will remind you of your sacred time, joined with antique, vintage, hand painted and collected beads of brown tourmaline, horn, wood, metal, glass, and clay. The smudging feather can be hung with the leather tie but standing in the vessel, they are a strong presence, a table sculpture, they hold place at your personal altar.
