This literary works comprises a collection of digests and essay reviews covering 1510 pieces of literature from around the world. 1287 of the entries are synopses, and 223 are essay reviews. The essay reviews cover poetry, philosophy and other types of literature that do not have plots to summarize.
These volumes cover a total of 753 authors, from as early as Homer, to 20th century authors.
Volume 1 has a complete index of contents.
The books a cheapest bit of wear on the corners of the boards. Inside, they are virtually like new. There are some marks on the page edges on the outside.
