A simple yet beautiful pair of sterling silver and peridot cheapest hoop earrings. Each with a large oval cut faceted peridot measuring 0.8cm/0.3” by 0.6cm/0.2”. The peridots are bezel set and mounted centrally on the front of the silver hoops. The mounting is open backed allowing light to transmit through the stones, illuminating their rich green tones. The closure is a pierced post fitting with solid silver butterfly scrolls, which are matching and marked 925. The hoops are lightweight owing to their hollow centre design. A really beautiful and quality pair of earrings.

Peridot is known to many as the birthstone of August, it's rich chartreuse green tones develop from its iron content. It is one of only two gemstones found deep in the earth's upper mantle, but has also been found in meteorites!
