This is a large batik print of "River cheapest Sunrise" an intricate batik created beginning with Black fabric and going through many stages of bleaching and dyeing. The sky shows the morning glow of the earth awakening. It has gone through many wax applications and dye baths to achieve these colors and effects. The original River Sunrise was created starting with black fabric and bleaching out in stages to achieve many variations. The many dye baths were sequenced to achieve the colors. The original batik has been sold and is pictured on the far right.
This listing is for a very large 22" x 36" horizontal print on canvas or
professional photo paper 20" x 34".
There are two mirror image options shown and it may be the
first image with water in the middle or
the second image with a mountain in the middle .
It will be shipped rolled in a tube. You may have this canvas stretched over a frame, if you prefer to purchase stretched.
