Vintage English Wooden Football Soccer Sports Bird ARP Warning Clacker Souvenir cheapest Wood circa 1930-40's / EVE of Europe

A vintage English wooden clacker. Swing it round for a loud clacking noise. Use the optional handle for controlled clacks. Used at football matches in the past. Also used in the war as a warning for attacks and to scare birds from crops.

Condition: in good vintage condition with signs of previous use, despite being well used as is apparant from the wear to the wood it is still fully functional and original. This one has an unusual handle to turn the clacker round manually rather than swinging it round. For slower or controlled clacks perhaps.
