Cheapest Vintage small 3mm lotus faux pearl necklace and stud earrings, 22 carat gold plated original box

Another gorgeous vintage simulated pearl necklace by Lotus pearls. A lovely 1980's Lotus pearl in the original blue box.

This set dates from the late1980's and is in very good condition. The pearls are 3mm in diameter, like a large seed pearl, and a round shape. The fastening is a slide clasp set with a single sparkly crystal and the necklaces measures 45cm in length when worn. The studs that are part of the set measure 5mm in diameter and match the necklace, with butterfly backs.

The necklace is 22 carat gold plated and the box is marked Lotus jewellery. The necklace is newly restrung and is quite tight at present but will relax when worn.

Lotus made simulated pearls and were at the height of their popularity from the 1950's to cheapest 1980's, and it is testament to how well they were made that they survive in such good condition today.

The necklace would be perfect for a wedding outfit, for the bride, or bridesmaid or evening wear for pearl lovers. They are also suitable for a collector of vintage jewellery and they really are rare, particularly with the box in this condition.
