This is a 19th century adverting/ recipe booklet/ pamphlet. It is Very interesting to peruse the antiquarian advertisements at ones leisure, and to read through the Very old recipes.
The cheapest front image Father Mathew, is from around 1888, and promotes the cure for alcohol.
A couple of the most interesting recipes I found was for Queen Victoria's Favorite Pudding , and Martha Washington Cake Yummy!
Within these pages can be found advertisements for Persian Lotion and Audettes Hair Promoter and more.
The brochure itself, the pages are quite fragile, remember this paper is old. The pages begin at page 41 and end at page 84. There are areas of damage, see photos. The paper is quite yellowed from age and as mentioned the paper is fragile.
When found this pamphlet came with a cabinet card /Cartes-de-visite included, this remains in the brochure. The pamphlet measures 7.5 inches long by 4.25 inches wide. The cabinet card is 4 inches by 2.5 inches.
