Cheapest Hellios 44-2

Helios 44 lens from the 1960s. This is an early version of this famous 58mm f2.0 classic lens, with a 13 blade aperture iris.


Some beautiful swirly out of focus backgrounds can be created at f2.


The body has some rub marks, but no dents. The focus and aperture rings are very smooth.


The front glass element has a tiny imperfection which looks like a dust cheapest particle and I suspect would have been there from new. It does not affect the optical performance. See photo. There is some scratches on the optics.
