Antique Painted Tin Box, Tole Ware, Red, cheapest White, Blue Swags

cheapest This is a handsome paint decorated tin box with a black japanned finish and red, white and blue swags with yellow embellishments. There are overall signs of age and wear to the paint, but it has held up very well. It has its original latch and brass handle on the top. The handle has a little play in it when jiggled but it is secure. The lid fits snugly. It measures 9 7/8" by 4 1/4" by 5 1/8".
