A souvenir of Arcachon, (nearr Bordeaux) imprinted in black fancy script. Very old...made to satisfy Continental tourists who came to France in the 1800s and early 1900s..as luxury getaways.

Red silk linen lining is tattered...also, there is a piece of missing shell as pictured....this is old and has seen a lot of use.
