Spectacularly well-done batik cotton textile stamped "Made in Java" and with original vintage tag still attached (tag is old and deteriorating). Attractive design is made with a complicated wax and dye process and is a diagonal floral geometric in earth tones of black brown and ecru. Selvages intact & hemmed on both sides (sometimes sold that way to prevent fraying).
