The razor handle and stand are made from beautiful double dye stablized Ambrosia Maple. Stabilized wood is a piece of wood that has been injected it with resin to create a stable, hardened wood. The resin displaces air pockets throughout the grain structure, creating a dense wood that is nearly impervious to moisture changes The durable Cyanoacrylate finish can handle daily use and will last a long time with proper care. This set has been hand turned and polished to a gloss finish.
