A fantastic multicolor glass hand blown piece by Czech artisan and designer Jiri Suhajek. Certainly a decorative art object, with a cup that you could actually drink a small amount from, but perhaps, more likely that it is a candle stick. Topped by the clear blue cup, it cheapest is anchored by a darker opaque blue wide base. In between are a clear glass disk under the cup supported by three spheres. The three globes are yellow, green, and orange, all equal in size. In perfect condition, it is signed to the base.
It is just about 7 1/4" tall. The cup rim is about 3" in diameter, the clear disk is perhaps slightly less.. The larger base is 4" across.
It is marked with a vibro pen. There are two parts to the signature. I have tried to enhance the writing with powder, the beginning (picture #9) appears to have a copyright symbol and the letters "Crigu" ? The signature of Jiri Suhanek is next (picture #10), but it is very faint. I did my best to enhance and photo it, but though hard to see, it is there.
It is in excellent condition.
