Dwarf or Waldmännchen made of fabric with violin made of wood, Dresden bending doll by Carl Meissner from the period from 1945 to 1972 GDR.
The face was cheapest carved out by a special drawing technique. The artist doll has a sitting position that cannot be changed.

The small works of art, none of which is completely similar to the other because of the craftsmanship, were produced after the Second World War until 1972 by the company "Künstler-Handspielpuppen Curt Meißner". Then the company was nationalized and from then on was called "VEB Künstlerpuppen Dresden"."
It is in good vintage condition with slight traces of use.
The bow of the violin is not original but was made and replaced by us.
