Antique RARE Weeping Pierrot Half Doll, Very scarce German half doll, Art Deco Style Half Doll, Boudoir Doll, cheapest Dresser Doll, Pincushion Doll

This listing is for a rare and quite unusual antique German Half Doll.
He comes from my private collection and has been in my family for at least 3 generations that I am aware of.

This unique piece is Art Deco in style and features an anguished Pierrot, hands clasped, mouth open, eyebrows knotted. He wears the traditional black skull cap and white ruff collar which is trimmed in black. His blouse is painted a vibrant and beautiful orange color.
Incised with the numbers 10/22720.

He stands 3/38 inches tall and is signed by the artist on the interior side of the base. Appears to be the number 13 done in red.

Just a unique piece and one that is quite different from most Pierrot half dolls.

Condition is PRISITNE with no chips, cracks or repairs. He has been very well cared for and treasured over the many years he has been in our families collection. Maybe he weeps because it is now time for him to find a new home and a new collection to be part of.

These half dolls are becoming more rare with each passing year. There are so many uses for these wonderful tiny works of art. This weeping Pierrot would make a great addition to any collection.

Please be mindful that each antique piece has led a previous life, and may tell its story through minor imperfections or wear from age and use.
When these pieces were manufactured many, many decades ago the process along with the materials used were much different than those of today.
These slight variances and imperfections are what helps to date the piece as well as to tell the story of it's history.
