Originally built by Harland & Wolff in Belfast just before World War Two, HMS Belfast is shown coming home on an official visit to the City after a very active and illustrious wartime career especially escorting Russian convoys. For instance, she played an important role during the Battle of North Cape and the D-Day Normandy bombardments.
