The scarf here is a fantastic Vintage find from the town of Saumur in France, on the banks of the Loire River.
This beautiful scarf is over 70 years old, and with a careful new owner will last for more than another 70. The scarf is believed to be mink; it has the most fantastic colour markings from the almost black endings that run through as a stripe along the length of the lighter, chocolate coloured main scarf body. This really would make a glamourous and magical accessory with any of your favourite fashion pieces. The scarf is lined with a chestnut-coloured satin lining and has the original catch to hold in position. The lining and closure catch show signs of age as would be expected but overall this is in tip top condition.
The measurements of this gorgeous little fashion item are:- 1050mm / 40" long by 125mm / 5" wide.
