Ready to ship! This primitive American flag fabric wall art will show your patriotism and love for your country. It's perfect for a primitive home with its tea dyed muslin, irregular stitching, and knots showing on the front and back.
This is a primitive flag sewn completely by hand. There are 50 yo-yos representing our 50 states that make up the stripes. Each yo-yo is sewn to cheapest the flag with a blue button in the center and knotted on the back. The yo-yo stripes are alternated with stripes with the beginning words to "My Country Tis of Thee." The words are embroidered with dark blue embroidery floss done by hand and very irregular to give that charming primitive look. In the corner are 4 stars sewn onto a blue homespun fabric. The outside edge of the flag was cut with pinking shears to give it a frayed look.
The flag is 22" in height and 29" long. There is a casing sewn to the back so you can insert a dowel rod so it can hang. No need to worry about washing it since the aged look will only get better with time and use.
