Antique French Cast Spelter Figure White Painted Spelter Figure on Wood Base cheapest Signed in cast after A.J. Scotte ( France, 1867 - 1925), stamped France. This piece was purchased from an Estate and previous owner had painted the piece white. There are areas where the paint has some cracks showing as seen in pictures and some points where paint has chipped off. Unknown if paint can be removed and the piece restored to its original Spelter. Despite being painted this remains a beautiful art piece. This is a large Piece measuring approximately 23" tall and weighs 12 lbs. Can go well with these styles of decor : Neoclassical, French, Classical, Greek, Antique, Old World European, Tuscan , Italian.
